  • You made some good points JGL, but as a cancer survivor who was diagnosed young you just can't predict what you're going to be diagnosed with. I"ve never weighed more than 100 pounds and was doing all that L.A. Yoga, organic food, exercising thing and still got cancer.

  • Thanks! I've been watching the news closely so I know what to expect Saturday. I have a feeling I might have to either camp out over night or get there for at least 4am or 5 am, they open their doors at 6 am. It'll be a long day, but getting health care is worth a little inconvenience.

  • I got a wristband on Sunday! I will be able to get some much needed dental work done, hopefully a mammogram for a lump I found 5 months ago and perhaps some glasses.

  • I'm with you, these studies are pure crap! I am a skinny gal, 98 pounds since 9th grade (I am now 39) and I got cancer when I was 34. Explain that with your fat studies!!
